NEW TFC AIRCRAFT?

I heard from a TFC pilot at the weekend that they are intending to purchase an ‘Italian Radial Engined Monoplane’…… as well as the Curtiss Hawk before Xmas –

Can anyone confirm – am sketchy on Italian types but that would that fit a Macchi M200 or a Fiat G50….right….

We have loads of German types under rebuild or replicas in the wings, how about an Italian Revival…..? Love the Fiat G59 (is there still one in the UK?)….but an SM79 would be summit else….

Cheers all

Hi Oscar Duck,

If I was to Guess I would say Bagdad, Both of the Sea Furys appear to be Iraqie Aircraft, if not there then somewhere close in the Middle East.

Whiole we are on the subject has anyone check shipping manifest for cargo from Brisban arriving in the UK. If not I would be looking for since that is were the P-61s were headed to.

Cheers Crazymainer

PS Did confirm it is an USA owner on the Black Widows who don’t know yet but give me sometime :dev2:

If this is true, it will be a great addition. Any Italian piston warbird is just lovely. Just the thought of seeing one in the sky! 😎

Wow!

Could it be an Italian radial-engined BIplane? That would tally with the Fiat CR.42 which TFC has had under rebuild in Italy for some time.

A flying SM79 in the UK. 😎 What a splendid idea.

Mike J. Any thoughts.

Note to Flood. It’s the right way round. :p
