Been delayed by distinctly unfriendly weather in Texas (BTW did the Lone Star Flight Museum escape damage – they’re at Galveston, right?)
Should be en route in ten days or so, will post pix on arrival at Brunters, her new home….

And it only seems like last year (but was actually 1969/70) when Loganair still used to fly their one, which is now at East Fortune.

Stiggie – if you widen the next the Dutch Historic Flight have one, I beleive there is a C-45 airworthy in France (plus one under rebuild) one in Spain and Italy on the historic circuit
I already could see 2 french airworthy Beech 18’s, the dutch and the spanish one. π
Will post pix of Beech arrival -promise!
Cheers

Sounds great! π

ARCOs Beech 18 is owned by Tim Darrah, and merely kept at Duxford…Sometimes also at White Waltham.
Anthony Hodgson’s ‘Southern Comfort’ was sold to a guy in Ireland, and Anthony Hutton’s is now based at Exeter with Andy Foan (in SEAC colours)
I think the Beech 18 is a superb aeroplane, shame that there’s no other airworthy examples in the UK. It flies like it looks – fantastic!

Nice to see the population of this nice vintage type growing in the UK. π This bird isn’t so rare in the US but here in Europe they are not so easy to spot.
I do look forward to see some pics.

P.S.
ARCO Beech used by but no longer owned by ARCO I beleive according to the Beech cohort i just rang , used to belong to Graham Warner so maybe its gone to him again – certainly it was used as a conversion trainer for the Blenheim(s)

Blimey, your a bit behind the times aren’t you??? I thought Anthony Hutton and Anthony Hodgson had both sold theirs to new owners.
