‘Reported Outside GBFly’s New Head Office In Newcastle’
“GBFly is a brand new start-up at Newcastle International Airport. We are pleased with the progress we have made up to know we are at the moment painting our first aircraft a single Boeing 757-200 (G-GBAA) ‘GB Newcastle’ and we are leasing a second Boeing 757-200 and is due to join us in February.”
The CEO Jon Taylor went onto say :
“GBFly is planning for launch mid-February and will operate out of Newcastle to
– Alicanté (Twice Weekly)
– Faro (Twice Weekly)
– Gibraltar (Once Weekly)
– Innsbruck (Winter Only – Twice Weekly)
– Lanzaroté / Arrecifé (Once Weekly)
– Majorca (Summer Only – Twice Weekly)
– Porto Santo (Flight Continues Onto Funchal / Madeira Island) (Once Weekly)
– Tenerifé – Sur / La Reina Sofia (Once Weekly)
Once our second Boeing 757-200 arrives we will then consider expanding to airports across the UK.”
