Well “new” to Aeroventure anyway. Went past the museum to find a Vulcan cockpit on a cradle outside the hangar, no radome or nose section, just bulkhead to bulkhead & finished in camoflage with early roundels. Externally appears to be in a fairly good condition, only needing a little TLC.
I know the info is vague, but can anyone I.D. this one?
Regards Rad.

Yes it is the CDT and it’s briefly at Aeroventure awaiting collection by TVOC.

Yes, it is the CDT, it was removed from it’s original frame 17 years ago.
The existing support block formers are still used.
Someone with extreme foresight for it’s potential stepped in after Ebay and saved this truly historic item.
The earliest Vulcan cockpit known, built before the prototype flew.this is a project with great potential, good luck to the new owner!

Sounds like the procedure trainer mentioned in another thread
Bruce
It could be Bruce, I’d seen the header of the thread you mention but didn’t read it.
The cockpit at Doncaster seems vaguely similar to the one that used to be at Tattershall/ East Kirkby, only that was on a rig that enabled the access door to be opened, whereas this one is at ground level.
