New walkarounds: Bell P-63A & Me 163B part 3

Hi,

Just to let you know that I updated my walkarounds pages with two small walkarounds, both are taken from my archives and were taken in the nineties:

The Bell P-63A Kingcobra walkaround consists of 22 photographs. One part taken as a walkaround(only small number of photographs) in Duxford and the other during an airshow. This aircraft was operated as a warbird by the Fighter Collection. Unfortunately it had a fatal crash in 2001. These photographs are not as clear as usual but since the aircraft does no longer exist they are unique. If anyone has better photographs and wants to share them please let me know!

The Me 163B part 3 shows the complete Duxford aircraft (minus canopy) as opposed to the restoration example (Cosford) in part 1 & 2.

Enjoy!

Hello,

The P-63 photographs were indeed taken at the air show held at Oostmalle in 1996.

And it was Vormezeeles skyraider with which he appeared at almost al air shows held in Belgium at the time. If I can believe his website he has still a sizeable collection.

Skyraider did not do alot for me at the time but I have a little collection now that I will put online somewhere in the future.

Have fun!

Interesting pics about the P63. Where those airshowpics taken at an event in Belgium (Zoersel? ).

I also noticed ex vormezeeles skyraider which is now staying in the USA.

Greets,

Stieglitz
