New wall planner in new issue

I just got my subcription of the new issue on Friday.
That is no calander inside!
It is more of a wall planner than a calander with all the issuse dates on it.

Anyone know what last years was like becuase this years is ok but other avation mags have and are doing better calanders!

RE: New wall planner in new issue

A free wall planner is great.

You can’t expect a free full on calender that you would expect to see going for £5 + in the shops.

I’m sure they in no way have the budget for that. I know Airliner World is the biggest mag of its kind, but It is still a specialist mag with in world magerzine terms a small market.

Airliner World is great. Don’t complain for getting something free and support the company that issue’s you with it.

RE: New wall planner in new issue

All i am saying is that I think they have it in their buget to make a better calander with different pictures. Maybe they could make it in partnership with Aifroces monthly and make one with 6 commerial photos and 6 Military ones. I AM JUST SUGGESTING SO DONT GO GETTING OFFENDDED!

RE: New wall planner in new issue

so would you prefer they hadn’t given a wall chart?

That they’d repaid you with nothing?

RE: New wall planner in new issue

All I am saying is that I dont like it when we buy their mag every month ans they repay us buy giving us a crap wall planner. If we didnt buy the mag they wouldn’t have a job! I do like all the content and thats why i buy it. From what you said about the Questionaire it seems that you only read the 18 pages of News!!

“buy, and filled the questionnaire out, for News content”

There is other stuff after the News, just incase you didn’t know!

RE: New wall planner in new issue

What exactly is your problem?

The wall planner is just a bonus. Are you saying you buy the magazine purely for free gifts?

I buy, and filled the questionnaire out, for News content, not quality of freebies.

Nice British Mediterranean poster

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-12-01 AT 04:43 PM (GMT)]The wallplanner i think is pretty rubbish .It includes small pictures of BA again (year 2000 calendar was pic’s of BA as well)and in the background is a faint pictur of Concorde, not very impressive.
But,that British Mediterranean A320 poster is very nice, that went straight up on my wall!

RE: New wall planner in new issue

The only thing good about it is that now i know what days to expect my airlinerworld! Wouldn’t it be nicer to have some proper pictures and a nice calander for EACH month of the year. I would be prepared to go with as much News and content for one month of the year if they promised to vige us a proper calander with proper colour pictures and not with a bad picture of concorde behing a cris-cross pattern of blocks!

Anyone feel like starting there own mag right now?
The Airliner World team don’t seem to be living up to the stanard we gave them in the Questionaire. The Questionaire was much better quality than this scappy piece of paper which is on my wall!

RE: Wall planner

The new issue is out now, it was at my local Co-Op when I visited a few minutes ago.

Anyway, last years planner was poor, I still have it on my wall but I would have preferred a calender.

Wasn’t there a calender supplied the year before? I seem to remember there was.

Wall planner

NOOOO not another wall planner!!!I remember last years vaguely,it was a large piece of paper with days of the year on it and in the background was faint pictures of aircraft,i put it straight in the bin! This year i have ordered a huge airbus calender just like the one i got last year,it has beautiful pictures of airbus aircraft.

Also, you got your airlinerworld magazine early, its not due out to till tommorow (12/12/01)i was told on my subscription i would recieve my copy 2 days early and it still ain’t come.

RE: New wall planner in new issue

Haven’t seen this month’s yet, but it sounds just like last year’s planner from your description.
