New website Aircrew Remembrance

Hi to all,

For those interested in aircraft losses and aircrews that lost their lives, or are still listed as MIA a new website honours the memories of Allied & Luftwaffe aircrews and pilots. The website adds new stories every day and so far there must be 150 individual Luftwaffe losses with pictures & details. The website is in its infancy and would love to hear from anyone who would like to contribute a story or photos, all are credited! Take a look at:http://www.aircrewremembrancesociety.com/

Many thanks

Melvin

Checked out the Remembrance Society page. Well done! Still a job in the works, I imagine it will take a long time to fill in all the dates and crews. Interesting stories and pics. It is somewhat shocking to see the youth of some of the airmen. Guess it is the same today, just don’t stop and think of it .

Looks like a well made site.

Can’t wait to have a browse around tomorrow.

You should have a look around this site:
http://www.flensted.eu.com/

It covers stories about losses in and around Denmark, some of them in fine detail with pictures, memorials, and even some with survivors visits. Maybe you can exchange some stories and pitcures with the owner.

Good luck with it.
