According to CNN an aircraft went into a flat near La Guardia. Don’t know what type or how large it was.

Believe it was Miami, certainly Florida.

At least two people have died, reportedly including a player for the New York Yankees baseball team, after an aircraft crashed into the side of an apartment building in Manhattan.
A fire broke out and several people, including a man and his pregnant wife, were trapped by the heavy smoke.
The two dead had been on board the small plane. One was a flight instructor and the other was a student pilot with just over 70 hours experience.

Pilot witness on ground reporting a light plane doing unusual movements prior to the crash, possibly an urgent return to an airport. Fire department report at least one dead. Building contains 180 apartments which are now being evacuated.
Addt. info. The plane took off from Teterboro airport, about twelve miles from the crash site.
