Well New York beckons tomorrow. 🙂
I’ll be flying KLM all the way and will get the chance to try their 777 on the homebound leg; now that will be fun particularly with the interactive IFE.
Standard 767 on the way there and F70s as connection flights.
Can’t wait.
Full report to follow. 🙂

Certainly is… i’ve just got back in from there. KLM hqve some great offers on for european destinations at short notice – usually around £125 which is cheaper than last min lo-cos!
First fokker experiances (70 and 100) and was suitably impressed!

Transfer time tomorrow is 3 hours; so plenty of spotting time.
Schipol is a great airport for views. 🙂

Well lets hope we’re on time tomorrow then. 🙂
Am really craving some smooth and uneventful flights and transfers this time after having a nightmare of late:
* Nov 03 (KLM 767) – 5 Hour Delay; Severe Turbluence Mid Atlantic for 2 Hours.
* Mar 04 (T3 J41) – Aborted take-off in the Isle of Man
* Jun 04 (ZU 737) – 3 Hour Delay on return from Larnaca
* Sep 04 (TCX 757) – 2 Hour Delay and an aborted landing at Newcastle

How long is your transfer time? If you got a lot of time you should walk to the end of the D pier where the view is best over the taxiways/runways. Alternatively you can also just walk all ocver the terminal shooting the planes at the gates. You should be able to get everything except El Al and perhaps a few flights to the US.

Have a great trip; I flew on both types this year. Not impressed by 767 but 777 was great. The IFE is excellent imo. The flight to EWR departed 53mins late today; the 767s usually go from a gate on Pier E (E9 today).
