As with previous years I thought I’d try and populate a new Newark Air Museum (NAM) Briefing thread to use for short updates and news snippets from eastern Nottinghamshire.
As the year progresses I will provide updated details of NAM activities in here!
More regular NAM news updates can also be found in here!
Could a Moderator please lock the 2019 Newark Air Museum Briefingthread?

jeepman – there is quite a bit of detail from LCC in the news release text & notes that I’ve seen, it its’ a question for them about the whys and wherefores.
As I understand things it’s still work in progress from Newark’s perspective, I guess time will tell!!

Hi, I have removed the two dupliate posts.

Sorry about multiple posts. Don’t know what happened and I don’t seem to be able to remove the extraneous posts.
Hate the functionality of this forum. No wonder it’s so quiet

Wonder why the Leicestershire people had it restored to airworthy condition, only for it to remain in storage and now be moved for display at Newark. Nice to be able to see it at Newark though. I guess the last time I saw it was at Strathallan.
Will there be the opportunity for it to be maintained in ground-running condition?

Thanks for the feedback, which I will share with NAM – still work in progress!

That’s a great acquisition for you. Lovely little aeroplane – I saw it fly several times at Strathallan. Glad it’s going somewhere where it’ll be cared for.
