Apart from a bit of rain which didn’t last long, a very enjoyable visit to the CockpitFest. I was well impressed with the two Phantom cockpits but I don’t know why. Highlight for me was the Lancaster which flew a low figure of eight circuit with the Vulcan as the centre point.

Duck & nitwit from the Nimrod at Elvington will be at cockpitfest tomorrow. Looking forward to the Jaguar & F4 cockpits and meeting loads of bods in the process.

Brian I always love your photos- the clouds above the F4F are excellent- i do however now feel very old having flown all of the exact airframes in the second photo- roll on retirement!
