Hi all,
A few shots from a sunny Saturday at Newcastle yesterday, starting off with one of Thomson’s new Boeing 737-800s G-FDZR –

The first BA Shuttle of the day from Newcastle south to Heathrow –

Monarch’s G-EOMA positioning from Gatwick –

… to operate the MON365 to Orlando –

Having swapped 17 tonnes of mail for holidaymarkers in a matter of hours, G-CELZ –

G-EZFH, the sixth aircraft for easyJet’s Newcastle base this summer –

TC-SGD of Saga Airlines in a basic Air Algerie scheme –

And then something a bit different… one from last weekend, G-EOMA emerging through the fog for an autoland on runway 07 –

Cheers for now,
Adam

Great shots!
I love the MON A330’s, I think that was the one I flown on to SFB last year –EXCELLENT seat pitching!

NCL_Chris, the MON departure photos were taken from the briddleway which runs over the top of the small ridge due west of the airport. You can get a good view down the runway as you can see. See the link below for more info…

Nice shots!
Where were you standing for the MON departure?

Thanks guys.
Alex – No I wouldn’t have normally attempted it either! As it happens I had another reason to be out that morning.
No STN visits lined up at the moment I’m afraid but will keep you posted.

Great work Adam! Cracking shot of the Thomson pig climbing out. The light really works it. The foggy 330 is also very nice. Wouldn’t have attempted it myself but after seeing yours, wouldn’t mind shooting a Globex in those conditions 😀
Drop me an email when you’re next down at STN. We’ve gotta meet up some day.

Great shots…but don’t try and fool an old Geordie…the words Newcastle and sunshine don’t go together…it must be trick photography

A superb selection, Adam!
The first and G-EOMA are stunning.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I’ve recently been trying out a new workflow so they’re particularly encouraging.
Lukeylad – thanks for the ex. FCA regs. Can vouch for G-OOBE – saw it at NCL yesterday evening.
Another photo for the football fans among us. Here is the NUFC team returning to the north east after a rather miserable trip to Aston Villa, aboard Scot Airways’ G-BYMK.

Do you recognise some familar faces?

Cheers,
Adam

Really good shots…
I love how clean the TOM looks and most of the other a/c until you get up close and see all the dirt and scuff marks on the hold doors, especially the 73’s!

The clarity of your pictures is amazing, especially with the first two shots. Thanks for sharing.

Great shots!
I Just love MON’s A330’s! Any one know where G-SMAN has got to? There were rumours that she is Tech with a serious problem in Asia.
Our based TOM 757’s have changed again this week! We now have 2 ex FCA A/C one of them with Winglets, which looks awesome!
