Hi all,
Spent quite a few hours at NCL yesterday waiting for my flight. Seems a great airport with plenty happening and although I didn’t walk very far there seems to be some good spots for photography. Met a few Police at the fence who were very helpful and pointed me in the direction of the Wings Bar so I could grab some lunch. Thanks to STN for the tips!
All the best
Si

Outbound to TFS using a Kestral callsign!
Damm crabs came along and spoilt this picture

Anyone got an idea what this new dorsal antenna is on this Fokker?

Never seen a wingleted one of these before

Don’t really want to get involved in this discussion, however in military aviation we rob all the time to keep aircraft operational.
We know that isn’t uncommon practice, Si. It’s just one of those cases of people saying things which arn’t entirely true just for the sake of it, or to try sound ‘clever’. If people really insist on attempting to show off how much inside technical knowledge they have (when they actually work at check-in), they could at least ensure the information they post is 100% accurate, and not third or fourth hand rumours. Something I learned very early in music was if you don’t know exactly what you’re talking about, keep yer gob shut!
Anyway, I wanna see more of that EK A330! 🙂

Interesting fleet Xmas tree.
‘AC’ went to QLA on Monday for a C-Check, with ‘AA’ now being the only 752 on base at NCL.
Perhaps a part “robbery” was undertaken to allow ‘AC’ to operate a service optimumly, but that would be common practice in aviation should somebody be trying to preserve hours or something alike. Planes go tech – and companies go for the optimum fix.
“Fleet Christmas tree” – there’s an example of someone giving a false perception of thinking they’ve got a clue of whats going on – it’s a good job most of you’re companies bods have a decent understanding of the game!
How to win friends and influence passengers eh!

I agree, and why would you post such things on a public forum when you work on behalf of the airline?

she spent last week getting some maintance done and been raided for parts to keep G-LSAC flying!
I’ve been very reliably informed that isn’t the case. Where do you hear these rumours?! 🙂

Lovely Shots!
The TCX B752 would have replaced a MYT A320 (I imagen) since the merge took place a couple of weeks ago!

Superb work as usual, Si. Very nice to see some excellent shots of the EK A330. Not an aircraft I’m used to seeing from them!
