Well the evening CWL-DUB flight only arrived in DUB last night when I was finished my shift at 0130.

Also, the KLM may have been delayed not due to problems at NCL but due to problems at AMS. There has been heavy snow fall in NL that pretty much threw all traffic to a stand still. Only one runway is (was?) open at Schiphol. Trains a mess, traffic jams big time. For instance, the A1 motorway was a 70km parking lot. Only necesary traffic still on the road. The police are actively discouraging people to drive, which is rare (not counting their speed tickets, parking tickets etc).

Oh believe me it gets much worse. We had 41 knot gusting the other day.

Yer theres no snow yet but visibility is terrible in the gails we have, its just chucked it down really wildly for about 20 minutes, like hail aswel, and winds have picked up to about 20 knots.
That sounds like a good day at Leeds Bradford – 20 knots – a light breeze!!

Yes, Cardiff was not supposed to get any snow last night but it did and quite alot of it. All flights to and from CWL are delayed, but nowhere near 9 hours!

I live 4 miles from airport and no snow yet! However Wales, the SW and Scotland have all had bad weather today according to the BBC.
