Newcastle International Airport

This week, the original terminal building at NIA / EGNT has been demolished. It was a protected building in so far as development could not alter the exterior – 1920’s art-deco… Sadly it was riddled with asbestos and the JCB moved in on Monday. It was previously a bar, but has been empty for at least 3 years…

Just thought I’d mention it. 🙁
