Went up to the airport late last night to catch a few shots, although the lighting was far from perfect.
Also went early this afternoon, and caught the EuroAtlantic B767-300ER chartered in for Flyjet for their early morning FJE613 arrival from Heraklion.

I can tell you for CERTAIN, there was nothing wrong with that airframe, and it didn’t go down to LBA for MX.
How’s about the airframe could have been brought down to another base to cover another AOG situation and protect the programme for the fleet as a whole, across both the bases?
Perhaps somethings that work there way down the Chinese whispers chain to check-in or PSA’s aren’t always correct, and shouldn’t always be put into writing on a public forum!
Lukeylad… I shall say no more beyond Mr EGNM really, really does know what he’s talking about. 🙂
James… I agree with Adam. A wee touch more sharpening will transform the Scot Airways shot from being really nice to being stunning!

Nope mate im going on proper infomation here no jet2 digs at all. I heard it was a genuine problem with the aircraft that they wanted to look at in Leeds.

And who made that bit up? Sure came to Leeds, but as to tech? Probably someone playing guessing games again to put another Jet2 dig in!

The Scot Airways shot is great – if you could do a little sharpening on it you would have a BEAUTIFUL shot. The lighting is fantastic as well!
Yeah, thanks mate.
Never been up to scratch on my editing skills, if anyone can give me advice, please do, that would be much appreciated guys 🙂

And anyone know what is happening with the FJE pax then? The departure boards have been showing delayed 19:30 for a while now.
Im hoping i will manage to make it up to NCL with my camera for Emirates next week, looking forward to it.
You dont happen to know what time the first 330 will be arriving and departing, do you Lukey??

Great to see the 767 just missed her at work believe she has gone tech though some where.
Also Tech from NCL today:
1 tech flyjet 757 which is off to manchester to get fixed then back to NCL to fly to Egypt.
1 Jet2 757 G-LSAA which arrived from Palma only to depart to Leeds to get something fixed.
1 Tech Thomas Cook 757 with a broken emergancy exit slide.
But on the bright side just think next week we will have a nice A330 in daily for EK.
