BA have now confirmed the tour airports around the UK. The following airports will get to see Concorde one last time:

Manchester
Belfast
Birmingham
Cardiff
Edinburgh

Dates to follow.

Toronto, Canada will also receive a visit from Concorde with a first come first serve flight from Toronto to London on October 1st

The Koda Air Cargo B707 that was impounded at SEN a few years back for drug smuggling has been given a new coat of paint and now displays the airlines new livery. The aircraft will be delivered back to Koda Air Cargo next month.

A new Dutch airline is to bit hitting the skies soon, V-Bird airlines. The airline has just acquired its first A320 aircraft, seen in the picture below. Aircraft is an Ex-Skyservice A320, still bearing the Canadian Reg number.

Flight KU542 was evacuated because of a bomb threat as it prepared to depart from Cairo to Kuwait yesterday. Passengers
used the escape slides to leave the aircraft.

The fuselage sections for the first Boeing 777-200ER for KLM are joined together at the Boeing factory in Everett. This aircraft is due to be delivered in Oct03. KLM has 4 aircraft on order and has signed leases for 6.

TAP Air Portugal is considering the lease of 5 A330 aircraft to replace its current fleet of A310 aircraft.

The Aeroflot aircraft looks better than I expected, not an improvement in my opinion as I was always an enthusiast of their old Russian image but that is progress for you.

I have been waiting for TAP to show interest in the A330 as it seems a perfect fit for them in terms of lower density long haul flights and higher density to Europe and the domestic islands. At last they are considering the aircraft now.
