Also, they begun yesterdad regular service from algiers to frankfurt (twice weekly) with ex Lufthansa 319 and will start a twice weekly flight to Munich on nov 18th and a charter flight peer week to Düsseldorf on nov 22th.
Khalifa started also a twice weekly Algiers geneva flight on nov 6.

Could be something to do with Air Algerie?I know they have some sort of co-operation with Khalifa,or it could just be a charter of some sort?

I dont think they’ll use a BBJ on a scheduled service…..must be seasonel or chartered.

Khalifa have been flying in to LGW for some time now, using mostly 319’s and 310’s

RE: News from algerian Carrier Khalifa Airways
thanks Saab for your comment.
There have been studies in the past, and there showed a market for an ALgiers – Houston flight (becauce of petrol)!!!!!
But the most important is the Montreal market, there are approximately 40 000 algerians in Canada, majority in Québec.
Air Algérie tried in 2000 to start operations but Montreal disagreed for unknown reasons to me.
So, if you see New York as an enter Gate to the USA, with the flight continuing to Montreal, theres a market for sure.
The other thing ist that Khalifa tries to develop a small hub systme in algiers, with flights onward to dubai or Johannesburgh.
So, we will see. One thing is sure, i newer saw an airline developing so fast !!!
Best regards
Fly

RE: News from algerian Carrier Khalifa Airways
Good to see London being served by Khalifa.I’ve always thought that the UK has been underserved from Algeria,so these new flights to London (LGW?)are a great addition.I have heard that Kalifia have been interested in London for a while now.
The NY flights I am not sure about.I’ve always thought that there would not be a market for them.flyairbus380,what do you think about them?
Anyway,thanks for the news.
