Britten Norman wish to establish an ATZ with a radius of 2nm centered upon Lee on Solent. I understand that comment upon this proposal is invited by the CAA and the LAA.
I’ve been told that Reality Aircraft – manufacturers of the Escapade Kid have gone into receivership. No further details.

I agree. I have no problem with a Lee ATZ. Most aircraft transitting East/West or West/East tend to go North about or South about.
I don’t know about the Escapade, but the Kid was being manufactured and in some cases assembled in their factory at Old Sarum. I believe others were sold as kits.

Why not.
If Norwich can lie their way to a zone the size of Gatwick, Lee on Solent must be entitled to a 2 mile ATZ.
And about 1/3 of it will merge with the existing Fleetlands zone anyway.
Reality are the UK marketers of the Escapade rather than the manufacturer which I think is US-based (But I could well be wrong)
