Stellar photography. However, I do have one quick question, what is the red liquid the An-2 seems to be dropping from its hold?

Wow BFS, that last Red Arrows shot is my favourite!

Great shots , I like the Merlin shot and the An2 throwing the red stuff away 😉

Any shots of it lower down with some non-sky background?
Probably not as low down as you’d like – taken from the cliff top 🙂

Others from the cliff top

I know they’re not the greatest shots but I like them 🙂

That last Red Arrows shot is a work of art! 😀

Very nice indeed 😉

It may officially be a Nord 1002 but it’s made out of 1942/1943 Messerschmitt-produced Bf 108 parts – makes it a 108 in my eyes!
Any shots of it lower down with some non-sky background?
Unfortunately I did not make it to Portrush last weekend, more serious happenings in the aviation world put me off the idea, however I did take these at Old Warden on the 6th August, I hope they will keep you happy Damien! 🙂

The Harrier did come back. He wentoff on a development sortie first though.

At least you managed to see some flying – I was at the BEA Warton open day on Saturday and it lashed down all day. The only “flying” was a Harrier that took off and never came back !
Had to content myself with seeing more Eurofighters than you could shake a stick at and a good look round the EF and Hawk final Assembly hangers.

I love that last shot with the sunlight catching the smoke and trails, well done!

Oooh, gotta love the ‘108! 🙂
By: Skybolt - 6th September 2006 at 17:20
The programme on Saturday was badly affected by the high winds and poor weather in England.
Typhoon could not take off from Warton due crosswind.
Harrier could not take off from Blackpool due crosswind.
We lost the following on both days.
Blue Eagles could not fly up from Middle Wallop due appalling weather.
Pitts Special stuck at Carlisle due to low cloud base.
A real shame since Portrush had fairly nice weather during the display period on both days.
The Skybolt’s slots were most enjoyable………… for the pilot at least.
Cheers,

Here the ‘108’, although it is a Nord painted as a BF108

Yes I’ve got a few, what is the best way to post?
I use photobucket, as do most people me thinks 😉 .
