Hi Mikkel
If you are on Facebook there is an interesting group on there with some pictures and profiles.

If the above link does not take you direct to the correct Album just go on Facebook and search for Nicaragua En La Historia and go to ‘Albums’ and you will see some national markings on the front page of the correct Album – which has some aircraft pictures and profiles.

Mikkel,
I’d suggest Dan Hagedorn or his son; not sure how to contact, but would suggest posting on WIX.

Hi Mikkel
Not sure what exactly you are after but Will Martin (WW Martin) wrote the book So I Bought an Air Force about his trials and tribulations buying almost all the Nicaraguan Air Force Piston Aircraft in the early 60’s,and trying to fly them back to the states – completing the task in 1965.
There are quite a few colour plates in the book but most of the colour schemes are fairly low key.Includes P51’s,P47’s and C45’s.
