When I recently flew from Nice airport with Easyjet on my way home I discovered that the police there put on a show for you “while-u-wait” all over the airport.
When i firstly walked into the airport I found the upstairs sealed off (Nice isnt that big). I found this strage but then i found out why. The police blow up any baggage they like, that is by itself even if the person hasd just gone into a shop.
About 5mins later i heard on explosion from upstaris and people clapping. Then when we were waiting for check-in we found the main enterance being sealed off. So I put my fingers in my ears like ever one else and the he counted down and BANG it went off. Then the officer turned to us and bowed and we all clapped. Then they loaded the shattered bags onto trollies and put them out for people to see with a lady’s pink thong showning to the world when she went to collect her bag (in bits).I also saw someones very expensive HI-FI in bits over the floor.
The lesson of this story is not to leave your bag outside in Nice even if you do go into the shop for a minute (they dont allow big bags in the shop!!).
