No, Flybe do not have any CRJ900s.
Flybe Engineering have, however, been preparing the former MY Air CRJ900 EI-DUU for export to Uruguay. It was this aircraft, which was conducting maintenance engine runs, which is the aeroplane involved.
Good old BBC News. Getting the facts right as ever. 🙂

Thats interesting.
A friend of mine is an engineer for flybe at Exeter. I’ll ask him and see if I can find out any info.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the Citation was hit by the jet blast from the CRJ-900 and was damaged due to the extreme heat. They also just say that the plane was being tested by Flybe engineers not that it was owned by the airline. Members of another high profile forum are guessing at a LH owned aircraft!
