Such a tragic loss of young lives, this is the second air disaster in that neck of the woods in a couple of months, does that suggest anything?????

Witnesses are saying the plane was struck by lightning before landing and fuel in the wing exploded. The majority of passengers were schoolchildren returning from holidays.

Deja Vu. Condolences to all concerned. News update is that 103 died and there were seven survivors. The airline operate one MD-80/90 which was leased. It is 5N-BGL (ex N819US). The airline started business with a B.727 and a connection with Yugoslavian Airways. 🙁
