Just to confirm the details for those who missed the earlier posting, the Lancaster drama ‘Night Flight’ is on BBC1 next Saturday, the 2nd Feb, from 21.00 hrs onwards. It’s 80 minutes long, in widescreen and stereo, though the BBC have split it with the news in the middle-thanks Beeb. Set those videos and enjoy!

It would be a terrible shame & a great injustice if the BEEB were to go & bugger this programme up, but then again, who would be surprised?

For those in the UK that don’t normally take it, ‘Radio Times’ listing magazine has a couple of pages about ‘Night Flight’, with a couple of shots with NX611 in, although she’s not mentioned at all. Perhaps strangely for a BBC magazine, the drama, which is picked out as a ‘Choice’ for that day, is rated as ‘never quite taking off’ on the very page that is supposed to be suggesting you watch it! Oh dear!
I’ve not seen a TV ad for it yet-I bet the Lanc is the only good thing about it though!

It is a bit annoying for the Beeb to stick the news in the middle,but it was originally intended to be broadcast in two episodes,so it shouldn’t interrupt the flow of things too much.
Having seen the trailer,it does look a little bit melodramatic,but the flying scenes should be enough to make it worth watching no matter what.
