No.2 A.A.C.U. Photo Gosport

Hi All,

With the exception of the photo of Battle L.5664 JQ-O is anyone aware of any additional photographic record of No.2 A.A.C.U. at Gosport or Detling etc.

Thanks Alex,

Gladiator N.2308 JQ-M taken at RAF Roborough Feb / March 1942 whilst operating with ‘C’ Flight. Nice photo taken by Ray ‘Tiny’ Herman of ‘C’ Flight and the next in the series shows same aircraft with ground crew.

But no-one has seen any further Gosport photos????

Hi Tim,

On page 31 of Gloster Gladiator, Warpaint No 37 there is a photo of Gladiator N2308/JQ-M of 2 AACU.

The same photo appears on page 22 of Squadron Signals Gladiator in Action and is slightly better quality.
