seekjng information on No4 Initial Training Wing during 1940. Initially based at Bexhill on Sea, then transferred 4th July 1940 to Paignton. I believe men were stationed in the Tembany Hotel in Paignton but I can’t find any reference to a hotel by that name. Looking for exact locations of where the ITW was based and any other details.

Thank you both, I will dig further. Would be fabulous if anybody could turn up any photos from June 1940 in Bexhill, or July 1940 in Paignton!

No. 4 ITW RAF initially was based on the Sackville Hotel, Bexhill (now converted to flats). There is a file concerning the unit at the National Archives (AIR/29/633/1).
