No-fly zone over Gaza . Volunteers ?

Well the US could do it. Especially with diplomatic pressure I doubt that Israel would attack US planes.

Now if and I’m not saying it will happen but if the UN were to impose the no-fly zone who would enforce it?
Why would the US deploy aircraft for it?
For that matter why would France or the UK?
Most of Israels neighbours might not be interested either since if I recall correctly previous attempts to engage the IAF did not go that well. Saudi Arabia and UAE might have the gear but not the experience so I doubt that they would go for it.

So question remains who will impose this no-fly zone if it passes?

Now , my personal view on this (keep in mind that I can be well off) is as follow :
B. Obama ‘s Admin (Democrats) could be tempted and it would need all their guts and balls to do it , they could even archive a long time peace in between Israel and the Arab Wold . Will they have the “balls” to engage themselves in such a MAJOR political and military move remains to be seen .

This is the main and most important factor .
The French will then follow almost right away and the UK would have no other political choice than to jump on the bandwagon .
Russia could well use Her veto at the UN but I wouldn ‘t bet on it . China would most probably look closely but wouldn ‘t say anything because they have big deals with some Arabic Nations .

How would react Israel ?
They would be forced to obey the UN resolution or to face the consequences .
What Hamas would do ?
Since they probably started the all business , they would push for a non-aggression Pact and for further peace talk .
What the Hezbollah would do ?
They would stop right away any Ops against Israel and participate at the talking .

Conclusion : We could stop this 2000 years old fighting nonsense and try to find a winning solution for both parties .
