No Nimrod for TWO YEARS ? ?

So let me get this right….

“Nimrod MR2 will be taken out of service in March 2010, & the introduction of the Nimrod MRA4 will be delayed until 2012”

Sounds like a TWO YEAR gap to me?

So that equals: two years with

NO Nimrod for Search & Rescue coordination.

NO Nimrod for Anti-submarine warfare training

NO Nimrod for Maritime surveillance

NO Nimrod for over – land ISTAR

I presume this is what they call a “Capability holiday” is it?

What the hell is going …… ? ! 😡
