Just had a look at the Brunty website and I qoute
“There Are No Open Days Planned For 2005”
Now thats a shame but it looks like I will finally go to Abingdon next May.

Yes, most definitely come to Abingdon. What everyone else has said is true and, no I don’t have any connection with the organisers. It is just a don’t miss type of event with something for everyone.

im sure there just going to be called taxi days . bit like this year just gone it will be pretty much the same as this year .
as dave walton told me these jets have to run so let the public in and it may pay for the fuel if the right numbers turn up the cost for insurance just for the taxi runs with the public present is £5000 .unless the insurance as leapt up higher or the gate sizes have not made the target then it could be true .

At least it gives us more time in which to get Bucc 894 up to taxiing condition, before the next open day.
Please keep your eyes open for the Lightning Preservation Group’s annual open day which should be in July.

Perhaps it’s to make room for the B-47s and B-66s coming back. (Well I can dream).
