As briefly mentioned on another thread there doesn’t seem to be any news about a Yorkshire Airshow at Elvington in 2009, has anyone heard anything different from this?
The plan had been to not do one last year in order to do work on the airfield and save up for 2009 but there have been no updates to the website since.
Its a shame as it was a cracking show and a great museum to look around. The north doesnt do too well for airshows as it is but it would be a pity to permanently lose this one too.
