There have been a couple of interesting Airbus movements over the last couple of days. A few similarities between the two, both aircraft are former Kingfisher Airlines and are owned by the same leasing company. Also the sun was being difficult for both aircraft.
So first is the Nordwind Airlines (from Russia) A321 arriving from Halifax yesterday evening. A321 movements are relativity rare at Southend, but Russian airlines are actually, relatively common!

And this evening, the Nesma Airlines A320 departing to Cairo on delivery. A very smart livery, with the aircraft being affectionately named Noura. Once again, the sun was being difficult…

As always, I hope these are of interest.

Thanks MSR777. Culpano and EGTC for your comments. Had a lucky run this week at Southend, so I probably won’t get anything of interest for another month…
MSR777. I agree the Nesma Livery is very smart, but as far as I am aware they don’t fly to the UK, so it was just a lucky maintenance movement on Southend, as it spent just over a week at Southend on delivery after arriving from Mexico via Halifax too.

Does anyone know if Nesma operates to the UK, or is it just maintenance.

Great stuff. You sure are getting some quality airlines there!

Blimey. Nesma ! Never even saw that at Sharm El Sheikh.
Mega movement.

And one more from today (doing very well this week for Southend). This time I had a little bit more luck with the sun (just). The subject is a Skywork Dornier 328 parked on stand after having made an emergency diversion to Southend whilst operating a flight between London City and Bern the previous evening with smoke and a strong electrical burning smell in the cockpit.

It certainly made a very nice photo between the rain showers!
