Nitpicking perhaps, but the other day the BBC confidently described a formation flypast at the Normandy commemorations in France as being by the Red Arrows. Problem was, the aircraft didn’t look like Hawks…

Did you not see the Red Arrows overflying the launch of the QE2 on TV the other night, they appeared not to have had time to fit the smoke systems to their 13 RN Buccaneers they had borrowed for the occasion :highly_amused:

Red Arrows did a flypast at Arromanches, they’ve put up a short video of the flypast filmed from Circus 6 on the Red Arrows FB page.

Probably the Red Arrows (who seem to have been re-branded as “The Reds”) at Portsmouth and Patrouille de France at Caen/Arromanches.
