Just a note to say, that North Weald Airfield Museum reopens 3 April. On Sunday 4 and Monday 5th we will be holding a model exhibition, which will allow visitors the chance to see the entire museum collection of models. Some have been carved from wood during the war. (we have approx 200 models in total!)
The Battle of Britain room has also been redone for this season to commemorate the 70th anniversary, along with the ‘Blitz’ room which also is the 70th anniversary.
Admission to the museum and model exhibition is £2 for adult and £1.50 for concessions.
Opening times are 12-5 (last entry 4pm) Sunday & Monday.
