Spent a day at North Weald on Sunday. Quite a busy day for GA arrivals. A small number of classic visitors and some based aircraft posted here.
Thanks
Martin

No. I did hear that they had problems with leaky tanks and other serviceability issues.

They shouldn’t be able to if they moved next to an airfield. But, they will, probably.
.
Well they will need learn to enjoy it:D
Great photos by the way of an event I confess I forgot was on.

I like the raised Gnat shots and the low angle Bassett in particular. Good stuff! You even got the back of my head in the last shot, which is always a bonus.;)

It was a good day out and the landing fees went to Help for Heroes so that made it worthwhile. There had been about 35 visitors when I landed about 1300 so that’s not a bad turnout as there were several other events on. Some good shots there and I like the Sukhoi(?) with the Cub “canards”.

Very nice, but looking at those Gnat shots, I cannot help wondering how long it will be before people living in those new houses being built in the background start complaining about aircraft noise!

G-ARUL looks like a snug fit.

Very nice pix – I haven’t seen Gnats looking so ready to take-off for some time.
Thanks for posting.
