Reasons to be cheeful . . .

A little slap and tickle

(now you can’t argue with that!)

Or, “Wake up . . .”

I come awake
with a gift for womankind
you’re still asleep
but the gift don’t seem to mind

By all accounts he was not a nice man but amazing stage presence. Saw him in 1978 (twice) and just before he died. Incredible shows.

I want to do “Sweet Gene Vincent” with my new band . . .

… and I just happen to be wearing new boots and panties!

Pity it wasn’t his aeroplane.

Has anyone got a picture of the Consolidated Packet that used to sit next to the Fishbed at NW?

So not the person who had:

a love affair with Nina
in the back of my Cortina
a seasoned-up Hyena
could not have been more obscener!

Bloody hell, to think that is the same Dakota.
Why is that virtually everthing that passes through Aces High ends up falling to bits?

The blue Ian Dury DC3 N3455 went to Sandtoft or North Coates for a while and is now back at North Weald in a camouflaged scheme having been used for filming in Band of Brothers. It is now just a fuselage but you can see the blue paint underneath where the paint is coming off.
