Ok On the UKAR forum i asked who would be interested with a visit to north weald airfield museum and a tour of the airfield and hanagars and what have you T.B.C
Now i had about 5 people so far but that number will move up and down so i am now asking you horrbile lot 😀 if anyone would be interested
Dates: At the moment are 16 of the 23 but this will move about (so yes a saturday when you can see more flying)
Costs: Not to sure but a few quid to the museum and a little bit here and there
Ammenaties: The squadron (food/toilets etc)
Now this is all still up in the air as im waiting for a reply from the museum so im seeing whos interested.
For safety i should imagine places are limited so once i give a confirmed date it will be first come first served
More details to come when things get sorted but i am trying to see if there will be any interest

I can`t do August on a Saturday due to school holidays/staff shortages. Count me in if it`s outside school holidays, been wanting to go on a tour of the airfield for ages. Used to go there in the 70`s when my dad was competing in car sprint racing…..Martin

I can only make the 23rd.
I wonder if it might be better to do this later in the year? A lot of people will be on holiday in August. Having something to look forward to in November might be nice.
We had a forum trip (2 actually!) to the Mossy museum ~2 years ago, off season. It worked very well, thanks to Bruce and his colleagues. If Buncefield had not gone up the morning of the first trip it would have worked out even better:eek:

ok ive sent an email to the museum with these 2 dates
16th and 23rd of august
Now hopefully they should get back to me soon with the date thats better for them
Then i can confirm it and see whos interested
