The BBC are reporting on a helicopter going down near Harrogate, North Yorkshire, resulting in the deaths of two people. Does anyone have anymore information at all?

Another tragic loss of life. We’re only just into 2008 and yet several people in the UK have lost their lives in air crashes. My heartfelt condolences to the families of all those involved.

Does anyone have any more information about the helicopter involved? Previous history etc?
According to the CAA’s GINFO, it was de-registered from UK reg in June 06 and then transferred to Yugoslavia. I’m assuming that it was about to be re-registered as a UK based chopper? Does anyone have any more information about it in it’s previous life etc? It was registered in France before being transfered to the UK as G-SKUL in 2003.
I’ve heard a lot about the crash in other threads/forums etc – what a sad, sad crash.

Believe this was the helicopter involved in the crash, although not now UK registered.
Current reg. was YU-HEW.
