Many thanks to Phil for an invite on early in the afternoon to have a look around the Northolt Ops Block. The entrance fee from the Photo Shoots is being use towards the renovation of the building back to its original Battle of Britain layout. With the imminent arrival of the French contingent, we moved across to the 32 Sqn. crew room where I was introduced to the new Station Commander, amongst others, and onto the balcony to shoot a few of the arrivals in the rather gloomy and wet conditions that prevailed at the time. Fortunately the bulk of the rain forecast for the evening dumped itself over RAF Northolt just before the Night Shoot started. There were the odd couple of light showers during the event but not enough to spoil anyone’s enjoyment.

And always remember to wait till the camera has finished taking an image before moving it.
