Another excellent evening out, despite the no shows apart from an Embraer EMB 121 Xingu of the French AF, but more than worth it for me for the chance to photograph the black Martin-Baker Meteor at night. There was the opportunity to get in early to have limited access to the biz-jet ramp to catch the Swedish AF Gulfstream and the Danish AF Challenger before they departed. No 63 Sqn RAF Regiment put in an appearance with their ‘Big Boys Toys’ in the shape of a Jackal, the sandy coloured one, and a Panther control and command vehicle and the Fire Section had their big red MFV 2 on display again. During the night shoot a 32Sqn 125 and 109 helicopter returned to base with the helicopter sitting for a few minutes with rotors turning for the benefit of the photographers. Many thanks to Phil, Lee and the volunteers for their time and organising and the rest of the personnel at RAF Northolt for putting up with us all again.

Superb shots Brian. I especially like the Meteor with the remove before flight flag blowing in the wind.
