And if anyone wanted to know:
NWA9968 when he was on London 127.1 only requested FL300
whereas NWA9969 requested FL320

Lovely to see BOTH aircraft–especially the second departure which was vectored right over our house(closely followed by a VS 43 which was very late!)
certainly made my day–have been working late tonight to make up for all my distractions when i should heve been working!
Hope everyone else who saw them enjoyed them!
Lovely pic G-BNLL!

624US was the San Diego (San Diego Chargers) Flight 9968
623US was the New Orleans (New Orleans Saints) Flight 9969

PS: Dan your camera is still set to british summertime;)
Cheers, Huw:)
So it is!
that would be 13:00 and 14:30 for the departures then.
I know N623US was probably for San Diego, (we did discuss this!) but I need more evidence than just “it was lower”. The New orleans plane could have been carrying more people or had a slower take-off run for all we know.

N624US in the new scheme departed shortly after 14:00.
N623US in the old scheme departed shortly after 15:30.Can anyone confirm which one was carrying which team, for the caption on JP please?
I would say that N634US was carrying the New Orleans Saints and N623US was carrying the San Diego Chargers. This is based on the fact that both would be flying to the teams home cities, N623US was a lower departure meaning it was probably heavier due to having more fuel on board as it has to go further. This may however be complete rubbish:o

Cheers, Huw:)

Hey guys,
The game is this Sunday. Kick off is at 6pm UK time. My guess is that they won’t leave til the following morning.
Both teams have a bye week the following week so they won’t need to rush back.
Our clocks go back on Sunday but I don’t think they do in the US for another week, so the game is actually a 5pm kick-off. It’s live on BBC2 and SkySports

You only saw one?:D NW9968 will be landing about 9.00 a.m.
The first one carried the San Diego Chargers and the second will have the New Orleans Saints on board. The planes will remain until after the match.:)
