Norway’s air defense department has recommended that the
government replace its F-16 jets with Joint Striker Fighter jets, rather than Eurofighter, Norwegian news agency NTB reported, citing newspaper Avisa Nordland. The country is set to replace its F-16 jets within the next 10 to 15 years and must take a decision soon, NTB said.
Clarification is expected within one year, it said.
The order is expected to have a value of around 30-50 bln nkr, NTB said.
