Norwegian Douglas 8A – "Little Norway"

Can anyone tell me what the insignia is on the tail of this Douglas DB-8A-5N used briefly for training at “Little Norway” is?

The picture of this decal sheet make it appear to be some sort of globe with lettering above and below it, but that’s speculation, to be honest.

Any help would be appreciated on this. If anyone knows what it says or even has a slightly better quality image of it, that would be ideal.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks much, T J. I should have thought of that. I saw a Swedish DB 8 with the manufacturer’s logo on the tail, though slightly different, and knew what it was, but forgot completely about it.

Thanks again, T J.

Cheers,

It’s a vintage Douglas Aircraft Co. logo.

Check out the T-shirt.
