😀 😀 I don’t blame you for giving Nova Scotia a miss 😀 So whats the best country you have lived in would you say?
😮 S China Seas 😀 A truly Global forum 😀 😉 Anna

The grass is always greener………home is where you hanh your hat…………

Tenerife was great, but then you miss the seasons and you meet ugly English 😮 California was great, land of fruit and nuts, but then you get evacuated because of the fires, our lake level was down seventeen feet, seven years drought and the forest were being killed by the bark beetles. 9/11 didn’t do us any favours either, this was the beginning of the end.
Germany, too early to tell, four seasons, great food, good people. I didn’t mention India? now that is really different! :p

Yes, spent many vacations in Cornwall. Lived in the U.K., Spain, California and now Germany. Was going to live in Nova Scotia, but that weather 😀 .

Will try and hijack the thread again! 😀 😀

Just found out we have a member from the Spratly Islands 😉 (What?Where?Who?) (Yahoo keeps calling it the Spartly islands) A much disputed chain of islands in the South China Seas claimed by five or six different countries. the most important trading commodity seems to be bird s**t. 😎

Might as well completely hijack this thread as it doesn’t seem to be going any further :p . You may well be right about the Lizzard (been up that lighthouse) and their pasties, but the Norwegians are in north Michigan and claim to have invented the pasty! 😀 😀 😀

😀 😀 They claim that 😀 😀 I want proof any Nord’s out there 😀 Yes the Cornish coastline is very stunning, I have fond memories of times spent in Cornwall 😀 So you are much travelled then? 😉 😀 Anna 😀

:p If you want a real Cornish Pasty, you will have to travel to The Lizzard in Cornwall, drop in to Culdrose en-route , meet the Merlin Boys 😉 Anna 😀

Initially I read your post as you not having a passport  , but then you couldn’t go to Alaska with the Chippie. :p

My list of onion soups is No. 1. Halifax, No.2. Laughlin,NV and No.3. Tenerife. Funny, none of them were French restaurants. Whilst on the gastronomic topic, did anyone know that the north of Michigan state have very many Cornish Pasty shops! 😀

😀 😀 Then you have read it wrong!!!! I have my passport and my air tickets have just arrived 😀 😀 :p If you want a real Cornish Pasty, you will have to travel to The Lizzard in Cornwall, drop in to Culdrose en-route , meet the Merlin Boys 😉 Anna 😀

There was a forum member who worked at Halifax airport and he was posting earlier in the year but nothing from him recently. I tried to locate his name but was unsuccesfull. I was in N.S. last year and this year and may be able to help with your problem. 🙂

No!!!! but I would relocate for a peaceful life Anna

No you wouldn’t, :p ,it has two months of summer and the rest is winter, but Canadians are great people and Halifax has a great aviation bookshop and the best French Onion soup I have ever had!!
