Anyone know whats happening with Now Airlines, apparently the next LCC at London Luton?
Their website has been running for ages, they’ve advertised for Cabin Crew (I got an interview but decided against it!) and Flight Deck and now nothing. Their launch dates seem to go further and further and back. Their business model is very innovative too, with zonal fares. Will this all ever work???
Cheers,
Markus

Yeah……I suppose the world of Airline owning proves to be too confusing and difficult.

Airline Owner –
Just the B737-300. Apparently they did the proving flight on a chartered Titan Airways 733, amazing you can get your AOC by using another airline’s aircraft isn’t it!

I had a lot of friends who were offered jobs with Now Airlines, some even took the offer up and did the training before being made redundant last Christmas.
Very strange way of doing things. Apparently, they got their AOC, hired and trained everyone before they even had all the cash in the bank.
Can’t seem them coming back anytime soon IMHO.

As far as I know they’ve given up on the project as theres already huge lo-co competition and most viable airports have been snapped up already by other lo-cos with well known, established services.

Interesting news as Now Airlines went into receivership before launching flights.
