From June 1st using A346’s…
CX822 HKG 1015 JFK 1405
CX823 JFK 1550 HKG 2010+1
The currently existing HKG-YVR-JFK will remain as is.

Would this not technically be a continuation flight from HKG making it HKG-LHR-JFK, and back?

So if all goes CX’s way they will be operating the following routes!
HKG-YVR-JFK-YVR-HKG
HKG-JFK-HKG
LHR-JFK-LHR
What aircraft will they be utilising on the LHR-JFK-LHR route! My guess is probably the 747-400 as they can just continue their LHR flights to JFK!

Dartie is correct.
We hope to start LHR-JFK-LHR. It’s a totally different market.

What is the distance on that route in statute miles, anyone know? That has to be a polar route. I know CO does EWR-HKG in 777-200ER’s.
