I guess this is something major that slipped through the net.
The new Bangkok Airport opened at 3:00am local time on 28th September, whilst at the same time, Don Muang closed its doors.
It seems that everything went fairly smoothly. There were just the odd few passengers complaining of long waiting times for baggage.

ah now i regret not flying to Delhi with Thai in November. Damn my SQ loyalty. Might come back with Thai to see the airport.
