……lance cumbernauld is like manchesters version of barton….
Well, we live and learn.
I always thought that Barton was Manchester’s version of Barton……. :p

Nice to see some GA for a change, I must get on my bike too now the weather is getting good again. That Network Rail chopper will no doubt be doing a bit of prep for the mass close down of Glasgow Central station over the easter weekend whilst major engineering works are carried out ?

Nice images……….. but Commercial Aviation?
😎
well since most of the aircraft shown are operated by the 2 training operations at Cumbernauld (Leading Edge and CFS), and they are supposed to earn their keep, then Commercial :p
I do like the first shot, of G-BUMP, my usual training mount, and the aircraft I soloed in.

Very interesting shots there… I particularly like the Britten Norman Islander one, and the helicopter carrying the infamous ‘National Rail’ logo, wonder what they could of been doing…surveying the rails from the air perhaps, or just making sure the trains are running on time…lol!:p 😀
That would be my guess too ! 😀 Nice shots Peter.

Great shots – love the patched up windscreen!
Well, leading edge flying club dont. The aircraft is grounded while waiting for a replacement windshield after being vandalised.
