Nuke Buenos Aires – Thatcher's plan according to a new book

There is a new book published in France by Mitterand’s psy’. According to him, Mitterand was complaining about this
impossible Thatcher
*. France had to give to the UK the codes of the Exocet missiles during the Falklands war, and Mitterand was very upset, but he said he had no choice, because Thatcher told him she was going to nuke the argentinians if the British Navy could not conquer back the Falklands. So, the story goes, the France gave the codes to the UK, the Exocet were rendered useless and the Brits could make them dangle and change course and the Falklands were regained by the Brits. Buenos Aires was spared.
