Why is it you can never got odd nuts in small quantities when you want some.
We need 8 x 1/4 Bsf nuts to finish assembling an old pump to go on an engine and all the local suppliers say is we can get you a box of 250 minimum order.
If we had wanted 250 or likely to use them in the next 50 years we would have bought them.
Does anyone happen to have any odd BSF nuts they can spare for the moment 8 1/4 BSF would really help I think we may need four others 5/16 BSF.
We have all sorts of nuts can trade or what ever.
Also looking for surplus material for Whirlwind Project solid rivets imperial size sought.
No paperwork required as all static stuff.

You can buy them in quantities as little as 1 from various suppliers
http://www.fixingsupplies.co.uk/nuts/bsf-1.html
or packs of 20
http://www.gwr-fasteners.co.uk/14-bsf-full-nuts–bzp—20-pack-2748-p.asp
or different types

Yes, I can help, Mike.
Just to be sure the thread is correct, can you visit and bring the pump with you or send a couple of bolts across of the threads you need the nuts for?
If you want to come across you can have a look through some other bits and pieces as well you might need.
